Hi!
My name is Johanna. I am currently a PhD student in Social Data Science at the University of Copenhagen.I will be a visiting researcher at ETH Zurich at the Law, Economics and Data Science Group from October 2024 to February 2025.From February 2024 to May 2024 I have been a visiting researcher Institute for Data, Systems and Society at MIT.My research focuses on applications of network science methods within the social sciences, the future of work and reproducible science.Apart from that I am interested in making software to help us do research better and faster, I write a newsletter and I love doing all kinds of outdoors sports.

PROJECTS
I have engaged in an art X science project called 'Do algorithms care?' exhibited at the Ars Electronica Festival 2024. All documentation can be found on our website: algorithmic.care.
I have built a prototype for a tool to create interactive meta-studies. I also wrote a blogpost about the potential of interactive meta-studies.
I am writing a bi-weekly newsletter called CuratedCuriosity about technology, science and everything else that gets me curious.
Occasionally I write blogposts on topics such as future of work or higher education.
I have written a Python package for Latent Profile Analysis (available via PyPI)
I am the organisor and co-host of a podcast called "The PhD Pod" - a podcast where we explore all kinds of interesting science topics but also chat about PhD life. My favourite episode is about trust in medicine and challenges in fieldwork.
As part of the Ars Electronica Summer School 2023 I have co-created an art exhibition piece addressing issues of bias in AI, called AI Arcade
